I've been dreaming while awake

Trying to shake the tears

Trying to make things better

But it's bitter this desire

To live those moments again,

In my mind like a movie on a loop.

I'm here trying to get through

But the past is present 

And the present is temporary.

The future has so many doubts.

I long for a time of consistency,

I long for places I've been

And places I've yet to see...
