I started years ago.
I left California to come to South Carolina.
It's been a long journey
I'm glad that I came back here
Despite the reason for that move.
I'm heading west again.
This change in my life
Could have been better
But now I'm heading home.
I've been living in this strange landscape
Trying to survive each day.
I'm looking forward to seeing
The people I left behind
When I Left California.
