overwhelmed tonight

I am overwhelmed,
The sadness of a lifetime
Pressing against my mind
Trying to escape the places within
I'm trying to keep going
I try to have hope
But these hours of thinking
Brings me closer to the edge
As the tears escape my eyes
I find myself regretting so many things.
